Part time work
Part-time work (including temporary and seasonal work) can help you in ways you might not have thought about. As well as bringing in valuable cash, you can also:
- gain experience of different companies and industries
- learn work-related skills that will help your future career prospects
- build ‘soft skills’ such as the ability to work in a team and the confidence to communicate with people at different levels
- build up your CV
In some cases a part-time job or ‘temp’ role could even turn into a full-time permanent job…
