“You can’t choose your family” – as they say! Families come in different shapes and sizes. You might live with both of your parents, one parent, other relatives or with carers. Whatever your situation, these should be the people you can rely on through the good and the bad.
If you fall out with a family member – or other people in the family fall out or have problems that affect you - it can be very upsetting. You might find it useful to talk things over with someone else - maybe another family member or a friend or someone else you can trust.
If you don't feel like you can talk to friends or family, remember your Connexions Personal Adviser is specially trained to help you with all kinds of things including relationship matters. Just call in to see us in school or college or at your local Connexions Centre. There are also specialist organisations who can help you with all kinds of family and relationship problems. Check out the contact details below.
