It can be a hard time when someone close to you dies. It can trigger a wide range of emotions including disbelief, numbness, sadness, guilt, anger and even depression. No two people deals with the death of a loved one in exactly the same way, so it can be a confusing time for all those involved.
Family and friends may be the first people you turn to, but if you don’t feel you can talk to a family member or friend about what you’re going through – or you feel you need specialist help - then there are people out there who understand what you’re going through. They’ll listen to you and help you to adjust to changes.
You can talk in confidence to your Connexions Personal Adviser at school, college or your local Connexions Centre or contact one of the specialist support services below.
