How to index your resources 

The Connexions Resource Centre Index (CRCI) is a standard indexing system that can be applied to the information within your Connexions Resource Centre in school or college.

The index was designed with young people and practitioners to help file, store and easily retrieve information on a variety of subjects.  Topics are listed alphabetically and each topic is represented by a different icon. Information is separated into two sections:

General Information
This has 11 sections covering the following topics:

  • Choices
  • Education
  • Free time
  • Health
  • Housing
  • Law, your rights and citizenship
  • Money
  • Relationships 
  • Transport and travel
  • Where to get help
  • Work and training

Work and Training
Resources in this section are sub-divided into 23 'job families'
