Support to help lone parents start work 

If you’re a single parent age 18+, the Lone Parents Programme Centre is a service that we deliver to help you find work.

The programme will help you to: 

  • increase your confidence
  • explore new opportunities
  • learn new skills
  • find a job that fits around your life
  • prepare for work
  • seek out training opportunities
  • arrange childcare
  • understand Working/ Child Tax Credits
  • and lots more…

The programme lasts eight weeks and you can attend for a minimum of four hours a week. You’ll receive money towards the costs of travel and registered childcare while you are on the programme.
