Support to help lone parents start work
If you’re a single parent age 18+, the Lone Parents Programme Centre is a service that we deliver to help you find work.
The programme will help you to:
- increase your confidence
- explore new opportunities
- learn new skills
- find a job that fits around your life
- prepare for work
- seek out training opportunities
- arrange childcare
- understand Working/ Child Tax Credits
- and lots more…
The programme lasts eight weeks and you can attend for a minimum of four hours a week. You’ll receive money towards the costs of travel and registered childcare while you are on the programme.
